THE home of celebrity steeplejack Fred Dibnah is be preserved in his memory as a heritage centre.
The new owners are restoring Fred's Bolton workyard to its former glory.
There were fears the house and its historical contents could be lost forever.
But
Leon Powsney and his wife Jan plan to restore every nut and bolt - it is now open to the public.
You get a tour of the site and talks from assorted guests speakers.
